Logo developed further
The previous logo didnt look professional enough and appeared to cartoon like... so i had a look at albums that the client suggested for appropriate fonts i could work with and then worked this into the existing logo
Prefered design by the client... i am now going to test colours and other possible layouts to this logo
I'm not completely happy with the layout of the 'records' it doesnt fit perfectly so i have tested more ways it could appear
I have turned the music note upsidedown to see if the 'records' will fit in better with this, but this confuses the music note and looks untidy.
Prefered design layout tested colours of guitar... I will now ask the client which they prefer and i am also going to test out foiling on this logo design as it doesnt always work out completely neat i think this will add a worn effect to the logo.
As the client wanted a wood effect to the logo i thought this could still work as if it was cut out of a wooden instrument, so i added an outline in illustrator to make it appear as if the logo had been cut out of wood.
I have added a wood grain to the logo in photoshop im not sure if it works as successfully as a logo with this.
