Design ideas
sketches of ideas for window display, logo above shop door and vinyl text applied to shop window

I had a go at using one of the quotes just wrote out as a window design, to make it more interesting to look at than just type i included patterns to work with the text.

mock up of Ted Bakers window

I had a go at mocking up the text idea in illustrator, i took these designs to my crit and my peers thought that they appear to busy as a whole as the logo doesn't stand out from the text well enough.

Imagery used on the window displays, i took visual ideas from the shakespeare plays.

Wrapping paper stock
Stock choice, i have looked at various stocks used to wrap gifts...

Tissue paper is too thin and see through for gifts and would be difficult to print my heart design on.

This paper would tear too easily as it is handmade and too delicate.

Glossy wrapping paper is the best but like this piece is creases easily and the ink for the design wears off.

This red paper is too thick to wrap gifts in and would be very bulky on smaller gifts.
I will print my design on general white printer paper and i have made smaller envelope style boxes out of the previous red stock.
