Development sheets of the logo design


Here i have added elements to the existing logo it doesn't necessarily communicate shakespeare though...





Me and jane are planning on extending the Ted Baker brief to promotional work inside the store. I have created a logo based around the original font but with a relation to the shakespere theme.



Text i tried first for the subheading...


but the lowercase font that i used for Ted Baker worked better.

Business card for FAC Records

As people are given business cards everyday i wanted to make the FAC Records one useful and more than one purpose but also instantly related to the companies aim...

So as FAC Records is a Folk/Acoustic Recording studio a pick would relate well





I am going to send these to a specialist printers to get these professionally printed.

Business card for FAC Records

This idea was based on the guitar sound hole shape i wanted to create it so that the middle information card can be pulled out as it is easier to fit inside a wallet or pocket.




This idea is based on the shape of a record as it is instantly linking to the company



The information on the back of the card is harder to layout as it needs to fit within the circular shape.



To include the pattern that is on the poster within the business card i have tested this to decorate the guitar sound hole. The logo would be cut out of the card.



This is how the back would appear with information, the layout doesnt work so well because of the cut out logo.


This business card idea would be made to the shape of a guitar with the sound hole cut out so this could then be used as a key ring.








The gold colour of this i am going to test out gold foil as it will add the rough edge to the logo to appear as wood.

Guitar idea

I felt that the poster wasn't relating well enough to the music genre of FAC records so i thought of including and instrument but subtley. This was successful and the client likes this one best. I shall now explore ways of printing this.

The client doesn't like the idea of paint drips coming of the illustration as it gives off the idea of blood. He also prefers the darker brown colour i shall alter these ideas.
