Initial idea for skype

My idea for a skype poster is to show how phone conversations have improved over the years, starting from having cups on a string to now talking over the internet with skype. My idea is to have the text working along the string.

I want to create the text using a long piece of rope or cable to relate to a phone line. So creating the text in a long line needs to look natural and flowing so i have photographed a piece of string in this way.

Walk to work day!

For my new brief that will last for the remaining 5 weeks of my course. I am focusing on promoting brands with posters in the type of image style.
I have started with the walk to work day which will be for the eco friendly aspect of my brief.

Show your vision of why skype is better than a phone. Be creative and any kind of media can be used to display ideas. Explore various scales and layouts. Push crafting skills and test out ways to create type other than just drawing.

Changes to cardiff t-shirt tags

I have changed the style of the tag to improve the design but also because the t-shirts are usually given away as freebies at the marathon, so i have taken the price off the tag.

FMP final 5 weeks

I have decided i am going to focus my final 5 weeks on promotion for brands and the expantion of my existing briefs.

I am going to create posters to explore various sizes and stocks.

I will use type as image to create each and if i create one a day i should at least have 3 designs for each and maybe expand the design onto other promotional things to the brand.

T-shirt tags
to make my logo into a more substantial product i have applied it to t-shirts and have developed a clothing tag for them so these can be sold to promote the marathon.

Other gift tag options

These gift tags are very generic and the other is alot different to what has been done before. Although many people like simple as the main cards are what needs to be noticed and these match with the gift wrap.

I have tested various stock for the inside of the cards, most were too difficult to write on as the ink doesn't dry brilliant on vellum. So i opted for a thicker red stock which is easiest to write on and the hearts will be facing outwards so that there is a blank red space to write on inside.
